The Kids Have Arrived!

The black and white one is the girl.
Kapella gave birth last night to a beautiful baby girl and a handsome boy!  We are so blessed that there were no complications in the delivery and the babies are healthy.

Chicks At Three Weeks

Jonathan moved the chicks to the pasture this week!  Our pens are modeled after Joel Salatin's.  For anyone that hasn't herd of Polyface or Joel Salatin you should check them out.  Also for anyone that wants to see whats going on on at Polyface you might want to look at the Polyface Hen House (my sister, Leanna, writes on Thursdays).  Hope your Saturday was wonderful!
