Blueberry Glace Pie

Pie crust 9"

Sift together 1 1/2 cups flour, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 2 T. sugar into pie pan.

Mix 1/2 cup vegetable oil and 2 T. milk until frothy and milky.

Pour into center of flour mixture and mix with a fork.

Push up against sides to make crust.

Bake at 425 12-15 min. until nice and tan.


 Blueberry Glace Pie  

3 1/2 cups blueberries
1 cup water (divided)
3 T. cornstarch
1 cup sugar
3 oz. cream cheese, softened

Spread cream cheese in cooled pie crust and fill with 2 1/2 cups blueberries .

Cook together 1cup blueberries and 2/3 cup water over med. heat for 3min.
Add cornstarch, sugar, and remaining 1/3 cup water. Boil and stir 1 min. Let cool.
Pour over berries on pie and let chill in frig for at least one hour.  Then enjoy!

This recipes has been one of my family's favorites for years and since we have enjoyed it so much I thought y'all might too!  I am so sorry for the lack of blog posts lately.
